We strive to give you the latest and most useful information on all that is Gerrish Lyon Utility Authority (GLUA), and their misguided, unfounded attempt to build a lake-wide STEP sewer. They will use just your money. 

There is no acceptable scientific proof of any sewer-type need!!

GLUA Financing: Plenty of Nothing – You will find the in-depth reasons and proof, for why GLUA will not receive significant funding, YOUR money is all they can steal!

Lawsuit Filed! – Timonthy Monet, along with Higgins Lake United, have filed this lawsuit. He gives an update to The Houghton Lake Resorter coverage of the lawsuit intent. Please donate to HLU for this legal effort!

Stop “YES” Petitions Mailers – We regularly send mailers to those in the Lyon Special Assessment District (SAD) who have not yet petitioned. The lawsuit may invalidate some support petitions. The mailers are intended to stop any NEW support petitions from being filed (GLUA is constantly looking to gather more support petitions, offsetting any invalidated petitions). The new “Christmas” mailer will also go out to those who have filed support petitions already and are being lied to by GLUA about need and financing.

Church Involvement? W.T H.! – You will have the pleasure of reading Phil Robinsons explanation on how the Church, and Township properties, are being counted as support petitions. This should not be happening, the lawsuit should clear this up.

Updates on GLUA treatment facility planned discharge into the neighbor’s Muskegon River watershed (NIMBY), GLUA using misleading well and lake water propaganda, and more, coming soon.
